To claim any volunteer expenses, follow the policy and procedures below.
How to claim volunteer expenses
Download Expenses Form or email admin@harrowagenda21.org for one to be sent by email or by post.
Attach receipts (if applicable).
If you are volunteering for an Action Group, your form needs to be authorised by its Chair.
Mileage Allowances
If you travel by car, motorbike or bicycle to volunteer for HA21, you can claim 40p per mile.
However, we understand that you may incur a personal tax liability with HM Revenue & Customs, for example if you receive more than 20p per mile for cycling.
An additional £1 each way is payable for each passenger you carry if you give a lift to to other volunteers.

or bring your claim in person on a Monday morning between 10.30am – 1pm. Call first, on 020 3114 6020 to check someone is in the office.
Your cheque will be posted to you unless you arrange to collect it.
