A new application to develop this field has been put in by St George's Church. The Planning Inspector from Bristol was concerned about the Covenant in Schedule 3, which briefly says there should be no noise or activity on the land which will lower the value of the surrounding property. If land is given back to the Parishoners in exchange for permission to build, an indemnity will be needed, as residents can claim compensation under the Covenant's conditions.
Please write to beverley.buchar@harrow.gov.uk and object to building on a green field site. Harrow is meeting its housing targets by building on brown field sites. The Planning Number is p/2336/11
